We have successfully completed major projects so far and several on the roadmap as well.
MTCN stands for Mother Tongue Center Nepal. It started in the year 2001 with translation of booklets into different mother tongues of Nepal on the social issues like, health, awareness and empowerment etc, developed by UMN in Nepali language. From 2002 onward, it has been further working on language development and education.
We are dedicated to working along with the language communities. There are 123+8 languages in Nepal. Out of which, some of the languages are dying out day by day. If nothing is done against such repetitive erosion, the speed is, unfortunately, moribund to extinction. The initiative for the preservation of languages is always crucial in the ethnic group.

Being a Nepalese is a matter of proud and preserving language is one of the most important things we should be concerned in today's world. I am really thankful to the entire team for the training which was a wonderful experience.
You can always support us by joining our team and contribute to the preservation and development of languages of Nepal. You can contribute with what you have for the purpose of fieldwork, technical crew or assist in administrative work.
